My name is Maria Neglia and I have been an Image Consultant, Color Analyst and Make-Up Artist for years. I really love my work. It is very gratifying to watch women feel so good about themselves with a simple make-up application and words of encouragement. Their whole face lightens up, they stand a little taller and their smiles would brighten up the rest of my day. Yes, my day.
It wasn't until years later that I became a Counselor and had the priviledge of working with unemployed women and people in distress. I had the honor of counseling them towards career choices, helping them dress for their interviews and suggesting what colors they should wear, sometimes applying their make-up and when we were done, the women and men were in awe. They couldn't believe that with a few simple steps, they had practically changed their lives. Furthermore, once they left our offices with their newfound attitude and a revived self-esteem, most of them actually did change their lives for the better. And this is what my work is about. Helping you look and feel your best. Because when you look your best you feel your best. This applies to all of us. It shouldn't stop at the interview or the honeymoon. But, life starts to happen and before you know it, we're in a rut and we start to look like it too. Maybe you never learned what colors look best for your complextion, maybe you don't know how to apply your make-up to accentuate your best features. How about accessorizing, how much is too much? And, do you know how to match your colors or do you play it safe and become a neutral person. Always wearing black, brown or grey?
Nomatter where we are, we should always look our best. First impressions could sometimes be our last impressions. We only have 10 seconds to make a good impression. Imagine going to a first-class restaurant and being served. Your steak looks delicious but what about those burnt fries next to them and the dirty fork? Did that establishment leave a good impression? Of course not. The same thing happens with us. We meet new people, smile and are very pleasant. But our appearance dosen't match up with the smiles. Good impression? Probably not.
Let me help you to look and feel your best. Because when you do, I do. It will be my pleasure to be your Image Consultant. Call or email me so that we can start the renovation process. Change is a good thing.
